Boese Brew Co.

RE-BRAND, PACKAGING & MERCH DESIGN




A favorite brewery of mine, Boese Brothers, was hoping for a re-brand and name change, but wanted to keep their old iconic script “B”. 

We updated the name to Boese Brew Co., created a layered logo with a nod to the past and one to the future via typography, and have since created a bunch of new merchandise, while continuing to connect the old traditions of the company to its new feel. Boese also consistently works with artists on their special edition beers and merch, so including hand-drawn doodle-like elements was also important to connect back to the community.





An assortment of beer label designs I’ve worked on for Boese; 20oz Mexican lager & Hazy IPA cans for summer concerts in the park, a special edition bomber label for one-off beers that has a space where the ABV% and beer name can be hand written in. 
Boese also has a line of distilled-in-house liquors called Desert Spirits; we wanted the liquor names to be highly visible an easily differentiated from one another from the other side of the bar on a busy night when people are ordering, so a classic font anchors the colorful geometric animal illustrations, which were created by another local  New Mexican artist, Cody Saint Arnold.
